Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 8 ½ X 4 ½-inch loaf pan with butter or non-stick spray.
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar until combined.
Slowly pour in the beer, stirring with a wooden spoon or spatula until just combined. The batter will be thick and slightly sticky.
Stir in half of the melted butter.
Spoon the batter into the prepared loaf pan and spread evenly.
Pour the remaining melted butter over the top.
Bake for 50–60 minutes, until golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Cool in the pan for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool for 10 minutes before slicing.
Slice and serve warm with butter or with dip.

Beer Choice: Use your favorite beer (lager, ale, or stout) for a personal touch; avoid overly hoppy IPAs to prevent bitterness.
