Caramel cheese puffs are a favorite sweet and salty treat. We enjoy them any time of the year, but especially at Christmas! This is an old recipe that I'd classify as vintage.
Preheat and Prep: Preheat your oven to 250°F and line your pan with a silicone liner or parchment paper
Make Caramel: In a medium-sized saucepan, melt the butter. Stir in the brown sugar and corn syrup. Bring the mixture to a boil for about 2 minutes.
Coat Cheese Puffs: Place your cheese puffs in a large bowl. Pour your caramel mixture over the cheese puffs and stir to coat. Transfer the coated cheese puffs to a cookie sheet or roasting pan.
Bake: Bake the coated puffs for 1 hour, stirring them every 10 minutes.
Cool: Once finished, pour your caramelized puffs onto wax paper and break them apart as they cool.
